Clinton Walking Tour

“Come join us on a Narrative guided Walking tour of Historic Clinton, B.C., and relive some of the Gold Rush days, through strategically located large pictures that depicts life in Clinton during the 1800’s along with several of the buildings still in existence. At the end of the tour you can browse through our 1892 brick Schoolhouse Museum, which has a comprehensive collection of authentic Gold Rush artifacts, pictures, and stories collected within its walls as well as within the stable and yard out back. Founded in 1860 as 47 Mile House, Clinton was the site of one of the first Toll Stations in BC, charging a penny a pound for freight and 1 shilling each for animals from the Cariboo Goldseekers. It was renamed Clinton in 1863 by Queen Victoria.”
2013 will be our 150th Anniversary.
